I joined the Artstronauts Club when Teesha and Tracy Moore started it about a year ago. It's a constant source of inspiration, and well worth the low subscription fee they charge to join. Here is the first art journal pages I did, inspired by the name of the club.

Journal Pages in progress
Living on Long Island, I was snowed in a bit last week. So I spent time catching up on some journaling. Here is my take on the En Masse graffiti I saw while I was in Montreal last month. It was fun working in black and white (and grey and silver). There are some rubber stamps in here, the key card from my hotel while I was in Montreal, a photo of the graffiti in the Musee des Beaux Arts and doodles and drawings.

Here is more work I've done on the red pages I started back in January. (You can see the start of them on my January 18th blogpost). Slow going but it's coming along. You can tell it was inspired by being snowed in for days. I'm not finished with it yet, but I wanted to work on other things so it's stalled for now.

Wrapping up 2012
I'm off to a slow start for 2013. My only resolution for the new year is to make this a cool and creative year. I'm still facing a bit of a block on working in my art journal, so I will start off this post by showing what I've been working on into the new year that I started in 2012.

Hurricane Sandy- Postscript
While I was without Internet and phone for the week after Sandy hit the East Coast of the United States, I got back to working in my journal. I seem to have quite a few pages in journals that have been inspired by my reaction to natural and man made disasters/tragedies.
I hope all is well with you and yours. My family is all safe and sound. I encourage you to reach out and help those in need after this 'frankenstorm'. Please consider making a donation to the Red Cross or the ASPCA. Thank you.
